<p>Hi yogis and welcome to the Channel!</p>
<p>In this weeks video we'll focus on yin yoga poses that open the shoulders and increase the flexibility in the spine.<br />
This is an intermediate yin yoga class and it is NOT appropriate for people that experience spine injuries or any health conditions that limit movement in this area!! Please only do this class if you know that your spine and low back is in a healthy condition. It's extremely important to not go past your edge and back out of any poses that just don't work for your body.<br />
We will start in sphinx pose, followed by melting heart / puppy pose and end in a supported bridge. You'll need a block or a bolster/dense pillow for this practice. If you're working on yoga poses like full wheel, bow pose or any other back bending pose, this will help you get there!</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

<p>These yin yoga poses, focused on the hips, legs and lower back, will be very relaxing and are great for beginners. We'll begin with swan pose (also called pigeon pose), followed by a seated forward fold before moving into a wide legged child's pose. Stress and anxiety is common and yin yoga is a wonderful tool that can make a big difference for your mental health.<br />

<p>Hi yogis and welcome to this Channel!</p>
<p>If you experience any sort of tension or pain in your wrists and hands, this 10 minute yoga routine is perfect for you! Most of us spend many hours during the day writing, texting or typing. This can contribute to discomfort in your wrists if you're not counteracting it with proper stretching &amp; strengthening.<br />
These yin yoga poses, held for about 2 minutes each, are great to help with your asana practice, if you struggle with poses such as downward dog or plank. It's also perfect for anyone who uses their hands a lot by profession, like musicians, writers and artists.</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A yin yoga sequence to release all tension and pain in your neck, shoulders &amp; back!</p>
<p>Hi yogis,</p>
<p>This class is perfect for you if you experience any kind of pain or tension in your neck, shoulders, upper or lower back! Nowadays we all spend long hours sitting at a desk at work or hunching over the phone. Taking just 30 minutes to release and stretch out the upper body area will help you to ease any stress away, leaving you with a feeling of increased range of motion and maybe even a happier mood! We begin in a seated position with some simple neck stretches. Next we work on opening the shoulders with melting heart / puppy pose, followed by eagle arms. Then we do caterpillar pose to stretch along the posterior chain (you spine). We end in savasana.<br />
You may need a block and a blanket for this class.</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

<p>This week's video is a short but effective 10 min morning yoga flow &amp; stretch routine to wake up &amp; start your day! It's suitable for beginners and it's perfect to do when you're short on time but want a great full body stretch before going to work.</p>
<p>This routine can help you with relieving morning stiffness or sore muscles that are very common in the morning. This is a beginner friendly class and I really do hope that you will enjoy it!</p>
<p>You don't need any props for this class but if you have a block and a blanket at home you can always grab it to make some poses more accessible &amp; comfortable. If you want to increase your flexibility &amp; mobility, this is a great class for you to do on a regular basis to improve hip and hamstring mobility as well as easing away any back pain you may experience.</p>

<p>Hi yogis and welcome to the Channel!</p>
<p>If you spend a lot of time sitting down during the day at the desk or in the car, this is the perfect class for you! It focuses on opening up the thighs, quads &amp; hipflexors as well as a little bit into the hips &amp; knee joints. In this sequence there are only two poses included: baby dragon, also called low lunge and a quad stretch. The quadriceps are big muscles at the front of the thighs that can get quite tight, especially for those sitting for long periods of time or athletes. This routine targets the entire front of the thigh, from the hip flexors  down to the top of the knee. This is a great yin-style yoga sequence to do if you have knee tension, although be aware that people with serious knee pain &amp; injuries shouldn't practice this!</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

<p>This is a quick morning yoga sequence to stretch out your upper body and release any kind of tension in the area of your neck &amp; shoulders! Since we stay seated the whole time and do no chaturanga flows or downward facing dogs, this routine is extremely beginner-friendly. We avoid putting pressure on the hands and wrists, making this even more accessible for all levels of students.</p>
<p>No props required to do this practice, but if you have it it's nice to keep a block &amp; a blanket nearby if you need it. This simple yoga stretches will help you release any tension from your entire upper body and energize you for the day ahead.</p>

<p>Hi yogis and welcome to the Channel!</p>
<p>This week I'm sharing with you a simple &amp; short routine with just one yin yoga pose: a forward fold, also called 'Caterpillar'. It's been my favorite yin pose for the last few years, as it's both great to relief stress or anxiety fast AND to get rid of any upper back and lower back pain or tension.<br />
You can do this beginner friendly yin yoga class even if you have no prior yoga experience. No props necessary, and it is a great way for giving your spine and lower back some TLC!</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

Especially if you're dealing with something that's related to stress, like IBS or anxiety and stress-related constipation, this class would be perfect for you! We compress and decompress the stomach through twists, forward folds and using a yoga bolster.</p>

<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>

<p>Find your edge:  Never cross your body’s limits and risk any injury's. In Yin less is more. On a scale of 1-10 in levels of intensity we want to stay at about a 5.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Be still: Relax your muscles &amp; don't fidget while in a pose to distract yourself. Focus on the breath.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Hold the pose: In Yin we hold the poses from 1-10 min, depending on the level of the student and the intensity of the pose. As the pose is held for longer periods of time, it challenges you to increase your inner strength for stillness and further surrender into the pose.</p>
</li>
</ol>

<p>Hi yogis and welcome to the Channel!</p>
<p>This is one of my favorite meditations. I use it all the time, as it is easy, quick and so effective in relieving any kind of stress, anxiety or tension. It's a very easy 5 minute meditation with a breathing exercise, that's great for beginners who never tried meditation before or those who think that are "not good" at meditating! It can be done as a morning meditation or an evening meditation. Once you get comfortable with the technique you can practice it on the go and even increase the length if needed!</p>

<p>Do you want to relieve tension or pain in your feet &amp; ankles? Then this is the perfect practice for you to do! If you'er a runner or you're just up on your feet a lot, standing all day, these easy yin-style yoga stretches for your feet and ankles will help you to relieve some of the feet &amp; ankle pain or any tension you may be experiencing.</p>

<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
</ol>

<p>Let's show some love to our lower backs &amp; hips with this 25 min yin yoga sequence! Nowadays it's not uncommon and in fact many people struggle with this issue.  We lose our back health &amp; flexibility through sitting and poor posture. I hope this practice can help you to relieve some of the discomfort and improve your overall wellbeing of the spine.</p>

<p>This week I'm offering you a Yin Yoga Sequence for hip flexibility. This class will provide you with a deep stretch for your it bands, hips and also your low back! Tension in the hips after a long, exhausting day can cause severe aggravation and stress on the mind. We all work, and we all spend time on the computer. So, if you’re suffering from tight hips, you’ve come to the right place for some relief. You don't need any props for this beginner friendly yoga class!</p>
<p>What is Yin Yoga?<br />
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.</p>
<p>There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:</p>
<ol>
<li>Find your edge</li>
<li>Be still</li>
<li>Hold the pose</li>
