<description>This is the second part of my "PinePhone Daily Driver Challenge", focussing on Maps (after a few words on LibreOffice on the Pinephone and the new PinePhone Convergence Package with more RAM and memory, which you should totally choose, if you want to buy a PinePhone). Apps on display are: Gnome Maps, KDE Marble Maps, Pure Maps, which has a ton of features (and is available on Flathub, and for UBports for, FoxtrotGPS and Navit, which are older and do not run well on Phosh, plus a showcase of Epiphanys (Gnome Web) "Install Site as Web Application" feature, which can be used with Google Maps or openstreetmap.org., Also, as Public Transport Navigation can matter to people, we have a look at KTrip, an app for Plasma Mobile (running on phosh here) that supports an impressive number of Public Transport providers already. I published an accompanying blog post: linmob.net/2020/07/18/pinephone-daily-driver-challenge-part1-maps-navigation.html Stay tuned for the next "LinBits" on Sunday - my weekly PinePhone roundup on my blog linmob.net.
